CLOVERDALE

150 Years of Charm.
Population: 8,700 • Sq. Miles: 3.13
Originally a stagecoach stop, then a railroad stop dating back to 1872, folks back then would hop on one of three trains a day between Cloverdale and the lower Bay Area via various ferry boats.
Today, this charming town of about 8,600 people is situated in the northern portion of Sonoma County –– near the intersection of U.S. 101 and State Route 128 –– about 85 miles north of San Francisco.
As a quiet, close-knit community, Cloverdale offers a combination of ranch, A-frame, and Craftsman style homes, as well as vineyards, luxury estates, affordable condos, plus land for development.
