PETALUMA

Poultry in Motion.
Population: 60,520 • Sq. Miles: 14.52
Best known as the “Egg Capital of the World” for its many chicken farms, incubators, and processing plants, Petaluma today is a vibrant city of over 60,000 people along the Petaluma River and U.S. Highway 101, only 37 miles north of San Francisco.
Unharmed by the 1906 Earthquake, it showcases many well-preserved Victorian homes, as well as two dozen historical landmark buildings. Today, dairy farms, olive groves, and berry farms, vegetable patches, and vineyards surround the town, while its bustling downtown offers a blend of restaurants, bars, music venues, and shops.
There is just as much diversity in the types of homes available in this growing city. Contact me if you’d like a tour of what’s available.
